As every beach-lover knows, not all cars are ready to take on the beach sands. The Jeep Wrangler, however, is ready for a day at the beach! Jeep has announced that the Jeep Wrangler Beach and High Tide special editions will be returning for the 2023 model year, just in time for the Daytona Beach Jeep Beach Week 20th anniversary! The 2022 Jeep Beach Week brought over 200,000 Jeep lovers to town, making it the largest Jeep Brand event. What is the Jeep Wrangler High Tide?
The Jeep Wrangler High Tide edition is based on the Sport S trim. Under the hood is a 3.6L V6 engine linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission powering Jeep’s Selec-Trac 4×4 system. Outside, you’ll find features that include the emblematic seven-slot grille, circular headlight housings, LED headlights, LED fog lights, rock rails, a body-color hard top with Jeep’s Sunrider Fliptop, and exclusive ‘High Tide’ hood decals. Inside, the Wrangler High Tide features an 8.4-inch touchscreen, all-weather floor mats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more. The Sunrider Fliptop, which replaces the Wrangler’s standard soft top, offers an available sunroof function. Additionally, the Wrangler High Tide comes with the Xtreme Recon Package, which includes rugged 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires, 17-by-8-inch beadlock capable wheels, a 1.5-inch factory lift, a Mopar tire relocation kit, wheel flare extensions, and much more.
Jeep Wrangler Jeep Beach Edition
To celebrate Jeep Beach Week’s 20th anniversary, Jeep is producing 500 exclusive Jeep Beach models using the High Tide as its starting point. The Jeep Beach edition takes the High Tide and adds its own details taking it to a new level. Outside, the ‘High Tide’ hood decals are replaced by decals that read ‘Jeep Beach’. The exterior of the Jeep Beach edition also adds a ‘Jeep Beach’ plaque to the rear swing gate and body-color fender flares. Meanwhile, the interior features Katzkin leather seating, the Jeep Beach decal embroidered on the front seat backrests, and an exclusive Jeep Beach 20th Anniversary shifter medallion. The Wrangler High Tide and Jeep Beach editions are available with six exterior color options, including High Velocity, Black, Bright White, Punk’n, Sting Gray, and Hydro Blue.
What is Jeep Beach Week?
Jeep Beach Week is Jeep’s largest event, held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Each year, Jeep Beach Week brings in more than 200,000 Jeep enthusiasts from all over to celebrate the Jeep brand. It also draws crowds of more than 20,000 Jeep models. Jeep Beach Week’s main attraction is the famed Jeep Beach Parade, which is a beach cruiser with more than 3,500 Jeeps. Jeep Beach Week is a charity event to raise money for local and national charities, raising more than $2.5 million so far!
