2024 Dodge Charger at Arrigo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Sawgrass

The Dodge Charger is iconic, from its rich American muscle car history to its legendary performance. Ahead of the 2023 model year, Dodge announced that it would be the last of the Charger's most recent generation. The question of how Dodge would replace the Charger lingered for a time. Now, however, we know exactly how Dodge is honoring the Charger name while continuing to drive the brand into the future. The 2024 Dodge Charger is available in two models: SIXPACK and Daytona. Both with completely different powertrains and minor design alterations to stand out. Here at Arrigo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Sawgrass, we're thoroughly impressed with the reveal of the 2024 Dodge Charger, and we're excited to share it with you. Read below to learn more!

THE WORLD'S ONLY ELECTRIC MUSCLE CAR

670 Horsepower + All-Wheel Drive

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack features twin 335-horsepower electric motors with one driving the front wheels, and one driving the rear wheels creating a combined 670 horsepower and estimated 627 lb-ft of instant torque. The rear motor houses a mechanical limited slip differential to minimize slipping during high powered all-wheel drive launch moments. Add in Line Lock for smoky burnouts and Launch Control for the perfect start off the line.

Still The World's Most Powerful Muscle Car

This next generation is set to deliver more thrills that surpass legendary V8 performance. With 670 horsepower, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack is expected to target 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and target a 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds.

YOU'LL KNOW IT'S DODGE

True To Form

Built with a standard widebody design, the wheels are pushed to the absolute maximum widest position allowing an available staggered tire setup; 305/35ZR20XL front, 325/35ZR20 rear Goodyear Eagle® F1 Supercar® 3 tires.

R-Wing

The front exterior of the all-electric Charger Daytona is defined by the patent-pending R-Wing aero pass-through. This unique front opening helps minimize drag and maximize performance at top speeds. The R-Wing is named in honor of a well-known rocket scientist turned aero engineer who has gone down in history for his efforts on making race cars as aerodynamic as rockets.

2024 Dodge Charger Design Elements

Available as a coupe with two doors or a sedan with four, the 2024 Charger provides impressive versatility. If there's one thing Dodge knows how to do, it is to honor its own heritage. That's why the 2024 Charger was designed in such a way that it nods at the models of old while blazing a trail to the future of the automotive industry. The most prominent feature that reminisces upon the Charger's history is the Fratzog logo, originally found on Dodge models between 1962 and 1976. This triangular emblem is found on the grille, wheel center caps, and trunk lid. The front fascia seamlessly blends old and new with a hood overhang, modern reshaped headlights with a slimmer appearance, LED headlamps, and an appearance that's more streamlined than bulky while still giving off a commanding road presence. The electrified Charger Daytona models feature a front R-Wing, first used by the original Charger Daytona models of the 1960s. The R-Wing simultaneously creates downforce and creates a one-of-a-kind front fascia. Meanwhile, the interior of the 2024 Charger is intuitive for ease of use while sophisticated to give you a more premium feel. Behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel, you'll find a 10.25-inch fully digital gauge cluster as standard equipment, while the Daytona Scat Pack model features one spanning 16 inches. Atop the driver-focused center stack, you'll find a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen featuring wireless smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa, a customizable home screen, five user profiles, and more. Other interior features include a modernized "pistol grip" shifter, a center console-mounted ignition button, and more.

How is the 2024 Dodge Charger Powered?

In 2024, Dodge gave the Charger a completely new engine lineup accompanying the all-new design. The first to be made available is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona lineup. The 2024 Charger Daytona takes the crown of the first and only all-electric muscle car. Available in R/T and Scat Pack trim levels, the Charger Daytona lineup features one electric drive module (EDM) on the front axle, another on the rear, and a rechargeable 100.5-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack. Using a direct current fast charger, the Charger Daytona's battery can gain eight miles of range every minute it is plugged in! With an EDM on each axle, the Charger Daytona provides impressive all-wheel drive traction. While the R/T comes with 496 horsepower with a Dodge Direct Connection Stage 1 kit, the Scat Pack comes with a Stage 2 kit from Direct Connection for a heart-pounding 670 horsepower. This translates into Hellcat-like performance, with a 3.3-second 0-60 time and an 11.5-second quarter mile time. Set to be available in the first quarter of 2025, the Charger SIXPACK models come with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine that Dodge calls Hurricane, available in standard-output and high-output variants. The standard-output Hurricane engines put out an impressive 420 horsepower, while the high-output ones deliver 550 horsepower.

2024 Dodge Charger Drive Modes

Like most electric vehicles, the Charger models feature a series of drive modes to enhance performance performance. All Charger models come with Auto, Sport, and Wet/Snow, while the Daytona lineup features more drive modes for high-performance applications. Auto mode allows the system to automatically adapt to changes in weather and road conditions and make the necessary adjustments to power output, throttle control, transmission shift points, and traction control, among other vehicle functions. Meanwhile, Sport mode raises the transmission shift points to allow for higher RPMs and maximizes power output to provide an exciting driving experience. Meanwhile, Wet/Snow mode maximizes traction when traction is limited by managing the power output and sending power to the wheels with the most traction while limiting power to the wheels that are slipping. The all-electric Charger Daytona features its own set of additional drive modes. Track mode maximizes the Charger Daytona's performance on smooth, dry roads or tracks. Meanwhile, Drag mode is designed exclusively for a closed-off drag strip, providing the fastest possible launch times and increased straight-line performance. The Charger Daytona also comes with Drift mode, which is exactly what it sounds like. It allows you to drift around a corner by deactivating the traction control system, sending more power to the rear axle, and allowing for three levels of slip angles. Finally, Donut mode allows you to perform donuts, allowing the rear wheels to rotate around the front wheels to the left or right without the traction control system intervening.
