Tradesman
The Tradesman kicks off the lineup for the 2022 Ram 1500 with the potent 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine under its hood. This engine pairs with an eTorque mild-hybrid system, and produces 306 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. New for 2022, all 1500 trim levels now include an air filtration system that removes up to 95% of dirt, dust, smoke, and other potential allergens. There’s also a new trailer hitch light, which gives you LED-powered visibility focused on your trailer hookups. The Tradesman also comes with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a remote keyless entry system, and a ParkSense rear back-up camera.

Big Horn
Up next is the Big Horn, which includes many of the same standard features as the Tradesman, but with a few extras, and optional upgrades to make your truck that much more accommodating. For example, the Big Horn comes with fog lights, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and chrome accents on the bumpers and grille surround that give it a sleeker look overall. Inside there’s also in-floor storage to keep extra cargo neatly stowed, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel for an extra touch of style. The 2022 model year is also introducing the BackCountry Edition, an off-road-tuned version of the Big Horn featuring all-terrain tires, underbody skid plates, and black exterior accents like skid-proof tubular side-steps. Its heavy-duty shocks and electronic locking rear axle help you tackle the off-road trails with ease!

Laramie
The Laramie trim begins to up the ante in terms of luxury compared to the other two trims. Its dashboard has a high-tech look and feel, and its 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen is joined by a 7-inch digital cluster display to show you information like your current speed, current gear, and more. The Laramie also features a premium 9-speaker sound system from Alpine, as well as leather-trimmed seats with heating and ventilation. The steering wheel is heated as well, and the driver and front passenger’s seats can be adjusted 10 different ways. The Laramie has some available options, like the RamBox cargo management system which fits inside the truck bed, and an available multi-function tailgate. The Laramie and Rebel trims have a new G/T Edition for 2022, with performance-focused features like aluminum paddle shifters, and Mopar cold air intake.

Rebel
If you’re looking for a sportier version of the 2022 Ram 1500, the Rebel is sure to impress! The Rebel’s exterior is bold and athletic, with 33-inch tires on its 18-inch black-painted wheels, a sport performance hood, and a unique grille design with a matte black trim surrounding the iconic RAM logo. Inside, the Rebel features black and red sport seats, and available options like a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 360-degree surround-view trailer camera, and an integrated navigation system. The Rebel also has some performance features like a locking rear axle, and the available Off-Road Group which includes additional features like tow hooks, and hill-descent control. The Rebel is also available with the G/T package mentioned above, which compliments its red and black theme perfectly with the additional black badging inside and out.

Limited Longhorn
The Limited Longhorn trim is one of the most luxurious in the 2022 Ram 1500 lineup. It features a Southwestern theme, which offers features like two-tone exterior paint options, chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps, chrome accents on the door handles and bumpers, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. You can also opt for 22-inch two-tone wheels to go with the two-tone exterior colors. Inside, the Limited Longhorn features a premium leather interior with real Barnwood accents adorning the steering wheel, dashboard, and door inserts. The Limited Longhorn also comes with the 5.7-liter V8 engine, which delivers 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available either with or without the eTorque mild-hybrid system found on the V6 engine.

Limited
Like the Limited Longhorn, the Limited trim is one of the more luxurious options within the Ram 1500 lineup. This model comes standard with the 5.7-liter 8 engine, as well as the stunning 12-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system complete with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa smartphone integration, and up to five customizable user profiles. In addition to the new air filtration system providing crisp, clean air inside the cabin, the Limited also features dual-zone automatic temperature control. Additional features include power running boards, ActiveLevel 4-corner air suspension, and 20-inch polished wheels. New for 2022, the Limited now offers a special 10th Anniversary Edition, with specialty badging, a new Blue Shade color option, 22-inch wheels, and custom graphics on the interior screens.

TRX
Last but not least, the TRX trim is rounding out the Ram 1500 lineup with a whole host of unique and athletic features. The TRX picks up where the Ram Rebel left off, with a blend of off-road and performance features that makes it truly ready for anything. First off, the TRX comes with its own exclusive engine, a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 offering a whopping 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque! This engine helps the TRX race from 0-60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds, making it the nation’s quickest, fastest, and most powerful truck! It features 35-inch all-terrain tires with beadlock-capable sidewalls, heavy-duty Bilstein shocks, and a unique front grille that allows air to flow into the engine at a rate of up to 39.2 liters per minute. Additional features include a flat-bottom steering wheel, 12-inch touchscreen, and a high-performance dual-exhaust system.
