The Grand Cherokee L is such a well-equipped vehicle that even the base trim Laredo is stocked to the brim. But, first, let’s go over the available engine options! When you lift the hood, you will be treated to a spectacular 3.6-liter V6 engine that rips out a massive 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission which is perfect for on and off the road. For some added traction on those bad weather days, the Grand Cherokee L is available with a Quadra-Trac I four-wheel-drive system! Features for the Laredo are awe-inspiring and include 18-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack, and a cloth interior. Some advanced features are available, such as a power driver’s seat, a digital gauge cluster, a manual liftgate, LED headlights, and 2nd-row captain’s chairs. If you need to keep your children entertained on a long car ride, the Laredo also comes with touchscreens which all come with the latest version of the Uconnect system that has speeds up to five times faster than the previous version and has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the Limited, you get even more fascinating features that build upon what the Laredo already offers. Standard for the Limited are more luxury and tech features such as leather upholstery, heated power front seats, a power liftgate, and the Select-Terrain traction management system. The Overland also introduces drivers to a new four-wheel-drive, a Quadra-Trac II, which comes with a transfer case with low and high range gearing. The Overland is also the trim you want to go with if you plan to do some off-roading, as it comes with active electronic damping, plus hill-descent control and front tow hooks. You also get some added premium features, such as premium LED headlights. a navigation system, 20-inch alloy wheels, a dual-pane sunroof, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, a black roof rack, a Nappa leather interior, and a 9-speaker Alpine audio system.

At the top of the Grand Cherokee L’s trim list is the wonderful Summit trim, and it’s the most luxurious of all the trim levels. It comes with  Nappa leather seats with quilted bolsters, massaging front seats, 4-zone automatic climate control, and 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. Also standard is a 2nd-row floor console with illuminated cupholders, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and Active Driving Assist.
