Last but certainly not least, The Limited offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, which offers 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In terms of capability, the X and the Trailhawk lead the pack, with the Trailhawk featuring standard all-wheel-drive featuring the Active Drive II system, and a 2-speed transfer case. Meanwhile, the X features all-terrain tires, and off-road suspension.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers a different theme for each of its four core trim levels. The X trim is all-new this year, and offers a slightly scaled-back version of the sportier Trailhawk.
